The Product
 The Altapure HJ600, distributed by Infection Prevention Now, will disinfect a standard patient room in 30 minutes.
- Altapure offers 100% kill rate for at least three serious infections: MRSA. C-Diff. And a variety of other fungi, viruses, bacteria, and parasites.
- No residue from the vapor remains in the treated area; the procedure is totally non-corrosive.
Altapure
- Altapure has effective technology to solve the issues of corrosiveness and film residue as well as assure the end user a 100% kill rate of pathogens. Altapure has effectively used the science of ultrasonics and specifically engineered transducers to achieve a droplet size that is much, much smaller than those produced by the competition. The Altapure HJ600 produces a droplet, during the 'clouding' of a room or preordained area, which is a .69 ultra small sub-micron droplet (USSMD). This size is smaller than those presently in the market by a quantum leap.
- The size of the droplet makes the resultant vapor cloud effective with less acid and hydrogen peroxide content. The present Altapure mixture includes only 0.88% hydrogen peroxide and 0.18% peracetic acid.
- The size of the droplet and the resultant robust dispersal guarantees a total, 100% kill of all pathogens that contribute to the makeup of Hospital Acquired Infections.
- The 100% kill is not limited to small space and has been shown to be effective in a trailer (48 feet) size environment.
- Because of the size of the droplet and the manner in which it converts to water-vapor the procedure causes NO corrosiveness and leaves NO microfilm in the treated area.
- It is NOT necessary that the end user be required to control temperature or humidity settings in order to make the Altapure process effective. The system operates independent of dew point, vapor pressure and temperature.
- The operation of the Altapure HJ600 is done remotely. A laptop used outside the treatment area can access and operate up to five different machines at the same time.

The Competition
- Competitors use different forms of vaporizing or clouding a room or area.
- To date, the smallest droplet size they can produce is 7-10 microns. Although effective to some extent against HAIs, it will create inefficiency.
- This droplet size causes particles to spread or diffuse slowly. It causes a residue or microfilm on the treatment area. The size of this droplet also makes necessary a larger content of hydrogen peroxide and/or peracetic acid in order for the content to achieve effective kill levels.
- High acid and hydrogen peroxide leaves microfilm on hospital equipment and countertops and a corrosive effect on equipment and counters. Maintenance of these issues requires time and personnel.
